Embark on the ultimate adventure from Matera to explore Castel del Monte and join a Cheese-Making Class in the Alta Murgia Geopark. 09.00 Pick-up in Matera ° 1.5h drive ° First stop: Castel del Monte (1 hour) Castel del Monte is the perfect synthesis of all those symbolisms of imperial power, dictated by a multifaceted personality, an enlightened sovereign like Frederick II of Swabia. This majestic stone crown resting on a hill 540 meters above sea level was included in the World Heritage List by UNESCO in 1996. Second stop: Andria (3 hours) Await a Cheese Making workshop and a genuine tasting at a typical Apulian Masseria immersed in the heart of the Alta Murgia Geopark and just 4 km from the UNESCO site Castel del Monte. The Experience in Detail: Participants will be guided by our expert cheesemaker on a sensory and practical journey through the phases of milk processing. Standard Full or Half-Day Tours: Free cancellation is available up to 7 days (168 hours) before the scheduled departure time for all standard half-day and full-day tours. Please note that we reserve the right to deduct up to 15% of the total booking amount to cover administrative, currency conversion, and transaction fees. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the start of the activity, as well as no-shows on the day of the tour, will incur a 100% cancellation penalty and are not eligible for a refund. * The number of hours is calculated from the moment the cancellation request is received until the scheduled start time of the activity.
