Conditions of Sale
Due to rising geopolitical tensions, travellers should secure comprehensive insurance covering "force majeure" events like war, civil unrest, or airspace closures. Standard policies often exclude these, so specialized coverage or Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) upgrades are necessary. Purchase insurance locally to ensure compliance with documentation standards for reimbursement. Please note that our agency cannot be held responsible for any losses, damages, or costs incurred as a result of traveling without adequate insurance coverage.
Day Tours Booking & Cancellation Policy
To confirm the reservation of a single service (such as a guided tour, excursion, boat trip, or similar activity), it is necessary to pay the full amount in advance or secure the selected date by paying a deposit.
Please note that specific conditions may apply to private tours and customized services, including different payment schedules or deposit requirements. These conditions will be clearly indicated in the booking confirmation or pro-forma invoice provided at the time of reservation.
The refund policy depends on when the customer communicates their inability to participate in the booked event or service.
Standard Full or Half-Day Tours:
-
Free cancellation is available up to 7 days (168 hours) before the scheduled departure time for all standard half-day and full-day tours.
-
Please note that we reserve the right to deduct up to 15% of the total booking amount to cover administrative, currency conversion, and transaction fees.
-
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the start of the activity, as well as no-shows on the day of the tour, will incur a 100% cancellation penalty and are not eligible for a refund.
* The number of hours is calculated from the moment the cancellation request is received until the scheduled start time of the activity.
Third-party outdoor activities:
-
If your tour includes outdoor or weather-dependent activities operated by third-party providers (such as bike tours, water sports, boat tours, hiking, horse riding, etc.), we are not responsible for changes in their schedules or service availability. In case of bad weather, any cancellation and related full refund for the activity will be managed directly by the service provider.
Special services and private events
-
For special or customized services—including, but not limited to, private cooking classes, private food and wine experiences at masserie, educational or school events, weddings, and events involving venue rental or space hire—specific cancellation terms and clauses may apply.
-
These conditions will be clearly specified in the booking pro-forma or quotation provided at the time of reservation, and will prevail over the standard cancellation policy where applicable.
Multi-Day Tours or Tailored-Made Itineraries Cancellation Policy
To confirm a multi-day tour or tailor-made travel itinerary, the full balance must be paid at least 45 days prior to the start of the activity.
Dates may be reserved in advance by paying a deposit of 25% of the total amount.
Cancellation terms
-
Free cancellation is available up to 30 days before the activity start date. Please note that we reserve the right to deduct up to 20% of the total booking amount to cover administrative fees as well as the cost of the itinerary design and planning service, which will be clearly specified at the time of booking.
-
Cancellations made less than 30 days before the start of the activity, as well as no-shows, will incur a 100% cancellation penalty and are not eligible for a refund.
Rescheduling and Force Majeure
-
Requests to reschedule the tour or make last-minute changes due to force majeure circumstances (such as airline, cruise-ship cancellations or major travel disruptions) will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are subject to availability. In such cases, documentary proof of the event may be required.
-
Please note that we are not legally obliged to provide refunds for services affected by states of emergency or extraordinary events declared outside the Italian Republic, unless such situations are subject to mandatory provisions under Italian law.
