PUGLIA WINE TOUR

Savor the flavors of Apulian wine with an immersive vineyard experience

Starting from 400€

4-hours
DESCRIPTION:

Puglia, located in the southern part of Italy, is the second Italian region for hectares of vines, surpassed only by the much larger Sicily.
The Apulian wines have very ancient origins: viticulture was already widespread in this area in the 8th century BC. at the time of the Greek colonization, and there are testimonies of Pliny the Elder and Tibullo which demonstrate how Apulian wine was known and appreciated even in Ancient Rome.
One of the best wines from Puglia is Moscato di Trani. Its unique flavor profile includes notes of peach, apricot, and orange blossom, making it a delightful choice for those who enjoy a sweeter wine.
Puglia is also known for its red wines, such as Primitivo and Negroamaro. Primitivo, with its full-bodied flavor and rich, dark fruit notes, is often compared to Zinfandel due to its similar characteristic, while Negroamaro offers a more rustic and earthy character.
Puglia is also famous for its white wines: Fiano and Greco. These wines are characterized by their crisp acidity and bright citrus flavors, making them a perfect choice for those looking for a lighter option.

So, come and discover the magical Apulian countryside and dive into a tasting tour together with a qualified guide.
During the guided tour of the company, you will taste 4 different types of wine (white, rosè, red, and sweet) and have a delicious light lunch in the main building with local specialties such as bruschette, focaccia, mozzarella and salami.
